Reducing Air / Water Emissions
 



Refineries and other processing plants are under increasing demands to reduce emissions of selected substances or components in air and water discharges. Our experienced engineers make available a unique combination of extensive chemical engineering and environmental engineering skills along with broad design and operating experience in the petroleum refining, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

We can help develop plant facility improvements or improved operating strategy to reduce emissions for a number of situations, including the following:

 

  • Difficulty complying with existing regulations, or more demanding new regulations.

  • Problems anticipated due to expansion or modification of the process facilities, or a change in the feed quality.

  • Need to develop a plan to reduce the amount of emissions being generated to reduce the cost of meeting the waste disposal criteria.

  • A desire to audit the current plant practices for storing, treating and/or disposing waste materials to minimize potential liability.
