He entered the consulting business in 1988, after many years experience within multinational Companies including Roche, ICI and Baker-Hughes. While with Roche, he was responsible for their Multipurpose Plant in Scotland where he participated in process development and experimental production of numerous pharmaceutical actives in technical and operating managerial roles.
His ICI career included leading a team involved in process development, plant design & commissioning of a major plant to manufacture pyrethroid insecticides. Subsequently he was responsible for Baker-Hughes' Eastern Hemisphere manufacturing and then moved into contract chemicals manufacture as Works Manager with Witton Chemicals.Dr Dehany is a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He received a B.Sc. and Ph.D in Chemistry from Liverpool University.
