She has been a speaker at international conferences and has presented a number of papers at international events on finance topics. She has consulted to various organizations in both the public and private sector on traditional as well as modern budgeting themes

Vida has held senior positions within the finance function for international employers such as Arthur Anderson , KPMG and Computer Associates . She has also worked for parastatals such as the Energy Commission of South Africa and two large universities. She has delivered more than 100 seminars and courses on financial topics in USA, UK, Asia, and East Africa

She is also an educationalist who has contributed to the development of syllabi for the MBA programmes at local and international level, and has qualified as an assessor in terms of the British Standards. Vida also serves on the educational panels of various financial organizations and has been the author of three textbooks. As an excellent communicator Vida has the ability to train a diverse audience.
