At the same time, he shares his expertise and knowledge as a Professor of Polymer Engineering in a prestigious university holding instruction on Polymer Science & Technology , Polymerization Processes , Petrochemicals , Composites & Nano-composites , Catalysts & Catalysis and on Industrial Chemistry .

Previously, he had chaired directorial positions with the State Company for Petrochemical Industries , the State Company for Tire Manufacturing and the Engineering Commission for Petrochemical Projects . Herein, he gained extensive experience in large multidisciplinary programs involving multiple subcontractors and simultaneous work assignments and has consequently acquired comprehensive knowledge & understanding of environmental legislation & regulations and total quality management ( TQM ).

Dr. Mustafa has a PhD in Petrochemicals & Polymerization Processes from the University of Sheffield ( UK ), and a Masters & Bachelors Degree in Chemistry . Further, he had engaged in Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Polymer Engineering with the Essex University ( UK ). Having been an active and well-respected member of the American Chemical Society , the Society of Plastic Engineers (USA) and the International Desalination Association , he has been bestowed numerous honors & awards namely as a Distinguished Scientist & Holder of the Highest National Scientific Medal ( A ); the Principal Investigator on Advanced Materials with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation ; the highest promotions from the prestigious Science Research Council for his innovations and excellence in research achievements ; and a Research Fellow of the Institute of Polymer Science & Technology with Essex University .
