The qualifications of Mr. Brannan include  Higher National Diploma Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Government Electrical Engineer's Certificate of Competency, Certificate in Safety Management, Installation Electrician Accredited Person and Certificate in Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit ISO 9001.

Mr. Brannan is a Member of the Institution of Certificated Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (ICMEE), Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE), Member of the Institute of South Africa Electrical Engineers (SAIEE), Registered with the Engineering Council as a PR. Cert Eng. Elect., Member of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECASA) - Chairman of the Regional Technical Committee and Member of the National Technical Committee.
