He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate studies teaching on the subjects of Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Processing, Reservoir Fluids & Rock Properties, Production Technology and Environmental Risk Assessment. At the same time he is a Consultant for Oil and Gas companies w here h is main tasks are to provide technical support for gas plant activities, build a HYSIS model for the dehydration, sweetening and stabilization processes as well as to develop an integrated approach for the allocation of natural gas and condensate.
Dr. Aly started his successful career as a Demonstrator, and later on became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Cairo University. He had been instructing courses on Gas Production Operation, Petroleum Processing, Enhanced Oil Recovery and Hydrocarbon Phase Behavior. Then he joined Woodside Research Foundation (Australia) as a Research Engineer. He comprehensively worked on Synthetic Gas Hydrates for the Storage & Transportation of Natural Gas, and Natural Gas Dehydration Process Using Synthetic Gas Hydrates Formation Technology. He gained intense practical experience in Petroleum Reservoir with Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company, Turkish Petroleum Corporation (Turkey), Belayim Petroleum Company and E'cole des Mines of Nancy (France).
Being a seasoned Engineer in Petroleum Reservoir Management, Dr. Aly has given numerous lectures on Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Processing, Production Technology and Environmental Risk Assessment for Petroleum Engineers in several countries.
Dr. Aly has a PhD Degree, Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University of Technology (Australia).
