He is currently the Senior Professor of Mechanical Engineering at one of the most prestigious universities in the Middle East wherein he lectures on Thermodynamics , hydromechanics , HVAC and Engineering Drawing .
During his career life, Dr. Al Hassan worked as the Senior Engineering Manager of ESD Industries in Canada wherein he managed the design & calculation of pressure vessels , heat exchangers & refrigeration systems and the selection of refrigeration & petroleum plants equipment . Further, Dr. Al Hassan was the Technical Advisor of Shell Petroleum , where he was providing consulting services on compressors & oil pumps , HVAC equipment , petroleum pipeline & equipment , computer programming , and thermal equipment . Prior to that, he was the Production Manager of IBM Canada .
Dr. Al Hassan has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto , Canada , Masters and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of "Otto von Guerieke" in Germany.
