He is currently the President of Bailey Petroleum in the USA where he develops and executes ventures in the exploration of oil & gas .

During his career life, Dr. Bailey was the President of Exxon in the Arabian Gulf where he was responsible for the coordination of all the company's business interests in the region. He also managed Exxon offices in the countries in the Middle East and led negotiations on gas to liquid conversion projects . He was also the General Manager of Exxon where he managed the company's operations producing one million barrels per day with 1800 employees . He also worked as Operations Manager , Operations Superintendent and Technical Services Superintendent in various international offices of Exxon Oil in the Middle East , Africa and the USA . During these periods, he was able to manage oil production fields and supervised people in drilling , production, petroleum engineering and maintenance departments. He was responsible for the operations of various oil export terminals and oil & gas pipelines .

Earlier in his career life, Dr. Bailey was the Technical Services and Engineering Manager of Esso Standard where he managed process operations and design for facilities with 200 KBD oil , 500 MSCFD gas , pipelines and 125 KBD LNG plant . He also worked as the Operations Superintendent in the same company handling all engineering operations . He was also a Senior Production Supervisor and Process Engineer in Esso . Prior to that, Dr. Bailey was employed in Texaco USA where he held various positions such as Senior Process Engineer , Operations Supervisor , Process Engineer , Staff Engineer and Research Engineer .
